Israel to Prevent Transfer of Assassinated Palestinian’s Body to Gaza
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Tel Aviv would not allow the body of a Palestinian Quran memorizer who was assassinated in Malaysia to be transferred to Gaza.
“However, if they try to transfer it through Egypt and the Rafah Border Crossing, then we won’t have any control over the matter,” he added.
Malaysian authorities started an autopsy on the body of Dr. Fadi Mohammad al-Batsh, the Palestinian Quran activist and engineer who was gunned down in Kuala Lumpur a day earlier.
The Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas has blamed the Israeli spy agency Mossad for the assassination.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
